Siva Prasad Reddy, the Telugu film producer, passed away on Saturday i.e 27th October, morning. He was 62.
Siva Prasad Reddy was suffering from heart related ailment and he breathed his last in a private hospital in Chennai.
He founded Kamakshi movies banner in 1985 and bankrolled several hit movies like Karthika Pournami, Allari Alluding, Ragada, Sravana Sandhya, Vikki Dada, Myths Mesthri, Dhada and Greeku Veerudu.
Siva Prasad Reddy has worked with stars like Sobhan Babu, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna. He bankrolled about 12 movies of the Akkinenis. He was close friend of Akkineni Nagarjuna.
D Siva Prasad Reddy’s son Kailash made his debut with romantic entertainer Tej I Love you in which Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama Parameswaran played the lead role but unfortunately the movie was disaster at the box office.
