Taraji P. Henson Covers Marie Claire as she reveals she still doesn't feel like she's 'made it'

Taraji P. Henson did not hold back during an interview with Marie Claire for their November issue.
The 46-year-old, who released her book Around The Way Girl: A Memoir on Tuesday, told the magazine that she doesn't 'really know what "made it" feels like' when speaking about her career.

Taraji revealed that the most agonizing career decision she made was 'going back to television and taking the part of Cookie. I was so afraid people would hate her.'

The best career advice she got was to 'never give up' and that she turns to prayer to clear her mind after a bad day.

She talked about the changes she wants to see in the acting world, including seeing more females in charge at studios where they can 'make real decisions.'

On relationships, she said that she used to want a partner who was 'tall, dark, and handsome,' but now looks for a man with 'a sense of humor, kindness to everyone, and honesty.'

To women who are getting over a broken heart, she advised 'please love yourself.'
